  • An officer of the Forest City Police Dept. reported an incident of speeding to elude arrest, reckless driving, driving while license revoked, speeding, and found property.
  • An employee of Wal-Mart reported an incident of larceny.
  • An officer of the Forest City Police Dept. reported an incident of possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • An officer of the Forest City Police Dept. reported an incident of possession of methamphetamine and possession of marijuana.
  • Herbert Condrey reported an incident of breaking and entering and larceny.
  • Harold Litaker reported an incident of larceny.
  • Jason Taylor reported an incident of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, discharging a firearm inside city limits and discharging a firearm into an occupied dwelling.

Arrests
  • Rocky Shannon Pennington, age 37, of Greenville, SC, was arrested for possession of schedule II. He received a $10,000 unsecured bond.
  • Wesley Glenn Thompson, age 25, of Ledford Rd. in Ellenboro, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear. He received a $20,000 secured bond.
  • Larry Lee Johnson, age 49, of Fox Mountain Rd. in Forest City, was arrested for speeding to elude arrest, reckless driving, driving while license revoked and speeding. He received a $10,000 secured bond.
  • Dereck Eugene Walker, age 41, of Shelby, was arrested for larceny, driving while license revoked and second degree trespassing. He received a $500 secured bond.
  • William Kenneth Thomas, age 46, of McArthur St. in Forest City, was arrested for possession of methamphetamine and possession of marijuana. He received a $10,000 unsecured bond.
  • Eddie Floyd Dixon, age 39, of Smith St. in Forest City, was arrested for possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. He received a $5,000 secured bond.
  • Shelby Danielle Hixson, age 26, of Loblolly Ln. in Forest City, was arrested on warrants for resist, obstruct and/or delay, probation violation, and failure to appear. She received a $33,000 secured bond.
  • Christian Matthew Garrett, age 17, of Elizabeth Ave. in Forest City, was arrested for misuse of 911. He received a $1,000 secured bond.
  • Michael Alacantra, age 24, of Piney Ridge Rd. in Forest City, was arrested for driving while impaired, reckless driving and failure to maintain lane control. He received a written promise to appear.
  • Brandon Nicholas Sprouse, age 20, of Springfield Dr. in Forest City, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear. He received a $1,500 secured bond.
  • Michael Ray Sprouse, age 46, of Mt. Lebanon Church Rd. in Bostic, was arrested on a warrant for assault and battery. He received a custody release.
  • Erin Leigh Taylor, age 35, of Hwy 64 in Rutherfordton, was arrested for fraud. She received a $5,000 secured bond.
