Incidents
- An officer of the Forest City Police Dept. reported an incident of possession of a firearm by a felon, assault by pointing a gun, assault with a deadly weapon, possession of heroin, resisting a public officer, possession with intent to sell or deliver schedule II controlled substance, and maintain a vehicle for the sell of drugs. - An officer of the Forest City Police Dept. reported an incident of possession of schedule VI and possession of drug paraphernalia. (See arrest of Bradley)
- Mandy Hudson reported an incident of breaking and entering and larceny after breaking and entering.
- An officer of the Forest City Police Dept. reported an incident of found property.
- An employee of Speedway reported an incident of larceny.
Arrests
- James Lee Barbee Jr., age 33, of Heritage Ave. in Forest City, was arrested for possession of a firearm by a felon, assault by pointing a gun, assault with a deadly weapon, possession of heroin, resisting a public officer, possession with intent to sell or deliver schedule II controlled substance, and maintain a vehicle for the sell of drugs. He received a $57,000 secured bond.
- Daniel Brock Wallace, age 39, of Hamilton St. in Forest City, was arrested on a warrant for assault and battery. He received a written promise to appear.
- Hans Christopher Bradley II, age 20, of J.A. Hampton Rd. in Rutherfordton, was arrested for possession of schedule VI and possession of drug paraphernalia and also served with a warrant for assault on a female. He received written promise to appear.
