Incidents

• An officer of the Forest City Police Dept. reported an incident of possession of methamphetamine, possession of schedule II, possession of heroin and trespassing.
• An employee of the Baymont Inn reported two incidents of obtaining property by false pretenses.
• An officer of the Forest City Police Dept. reported an incident of possession of schedule IV and possession of drug paraphernalia.
• An employee of Oak St. Laundry Mat reported two incidents of trespassing.
• An officer of the Forest City Police Dept. reported an incident of possession of schedule II.

Arrests

• Melissa Lee Edge, age 35, of Maple Creek Rd. in Rutherfordton, was arrested for possession of methamphetamine, possession of schedule II, and possession of heroin. She received a $20,000 secured bond.
• Virginia Ross Laughter, age 29, of Shiloh Rd. in Forest City, was cited for possession of schedule IV and possession of drug paraphernalia. She received a written promise to appear.
• Richard Anthony Bright, age 44, of Oak St. in Forest City, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear. He received a $500 secured bond.
• Phillip Brad Dobbins, age 39, of Firpo Dr. in Forest City, was arrested for possession of schedule II. He received a $2,000 secured bond.
• Richard Cody Allen, age 26, of Stonecutter St. in Spindale, was arrested on warrants for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and damage to personal property. He received a $500 secured bond.
