Incidents

• An employee of Wal-Mart reported an incident of larceny.
• An officer of the Forest City Police Dept. reported an incident of forgery, obtaining property by false pretenses, larceny, and failure to appear.
• An officer of the Forest City Police Dept. reported an incident of second degree trespassing.
• Destiny Bradley reported an incident of breaking and entering and assault on a child under 12.

Arrests

• Gordon Lee Bloom III, age 50, of Chapman Rd. in Forest City, was cited for larceny. He received a written promise to appear.
• Evelyn Bloom, age 39, of Chapman Rd. in Forest City, was cited for larceny. She received a written promise to appear.
• Joshua Michael Gilbert, age 24, of Carolina Ave. in Forest City, was arrested for forgery, obtaining property by false pretenses, larceny, and also served with a warrant for failure to appear. He received a $27,500 secured bond.
• Joshua Edward Spratt, age 39, of S. Main St. in Rutherfordton, was arrested on warrants for second degree trespassing. He received a written promise to appear.
• Sheika Rene Hunt, age 45, of Dogwood Lane in Forest City, was arrested for breaking and entering and assault on a child under 12. She received an $18,000 unsecured bond.
