Incidents
  • An employee of Peace in the City Group Home reported an incident of a runaway juvenile.
  • An employee of Belk reported an incident of larceny.
  • Joyce Day reported an incident of credit card fraud.
  • An employee of Smith's Drug reported an incident of obtaining a controlled substance by fraud.
  • An employee of Rutherford County Farmers Market reported an incident of damage to property.
  • Christopher McDonald reported an incident of arson to a building and to a motor vehicle. (See arrest of Bradshaw)

Arrests
  • Anthony Wayne Bradshaw, age 44, of Carpenter St. in Shelby, was arrested for arson to a building and burning personal property. He received a $20,000 secured bond.
