Our summer movie series is back! Sponsored by Chick-fil-A, the Town of Forest City hosts these free movie nights throughout the summer. You can purchase sandwiches, nuggets, chips, cookies and brownies from Chick-fil-A's mobile unit, ice cream from Scoop's mobile unit and other snacks and drinks from Explore Forest City in the concession stand. All shows begin at dusk. Come enjoy the movie on a 25-ft. screen in a safe, family-friendly environment!
Joining us for this event is your hometown baseball team, the Forest City Owls! We're partnering with the Owls to kickoff their season with appearances from the team, coaches and Hoot and fun games and prizes before the movie starts.
When Scottie Smalls moves to a new neighborhood, he manages to make friends with a group of kids who play baseball at the sandlot. Together, they go on a series of funny and touching adventures. The boys run into trouble when Smalls borrows a ball from his stepdad that gets hit over a fence.
