Incidents

• An officer of the Forest City Police Dept. reported an incident of found property.
• Deborah Thompson reported an incident of assault on a female with a deadly weapon.
• An officer of the Forest City Police Dept. reported an incident of possession of a weapon of mass destruction, possession of a firearm by a felon and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Arrests

• Steven Michael Thompson, age 34, of Cleghorn Mill Rd. in Rutherfordton, was arrested for assault on a female with a deadly weapon. He received a $500 secured bond.
• Ellis Lynn Hill, age 28, of Hornmill Rd. in Union Mills, was arrested for possession of a weapon of mass destruction, possession of a firearm by a felon and possession of drug paraphernalia. He received a $75,000 secured bond.
