Incidents

• An employee of Wells Fargo reported an incident of obtaining property by false pretenses and uttering a forged instrument.
• Sarah Boheler reported an incident of assault by strangulation.

Arrests

• Carla Ann Morris, age 37, of Helens Lane in Rutherfordton, was arrested for obtaining property by false pretenses and uttering a forged instrument. She received a $4,000 secured bond.
• Michael Christopher Blankenship, age 35, of Dixie Trail Dr. in Forest City, was arrested for assault by strangulation. He received a 48 hour hold.
