  • An employee of Wal-Mart reported an incident of attempting to obtain property by false pretenses.

  • An officer of the Forest City Police Dept. reported an incident of damage to property.
  • An employee of Wal-Mart reported an incident of larceny.
  • An employee of Wal-Mart reported an incident of counterfeiting.

Arrests
  • Doyle Anthony Dezio, age 45, of Epley Rd. in Rutherfordton, was arrested for attempting to obtain property by false pretenses. He received a $2,500 secured bond.
  • Brian Coty Herman, age 25, of Harmon St. in Forest City, was arrested on a warrant for attempting to obtain property by false pretenses. He received a $6,000 secured bond.
  • Chloe Ann Brittain Hardin, age 18, of Harrill Dairy Rd in Forest City, was cited for larceny. She received a written promise to appear.
  • Andrew Robert Holloway, age 29, of Hill St. in Forest City, was arrested on a true bill of indictment. He received a $6,750 secured bond.
  • Zachery Payne Jackson, age 26, of Weathers St. in Forest City, was served with a criminal summons. No bond.
