  • An officer of the Forest City Police Dept. reported an incident of child abuse.

Arrests
  • Keosha Rashauda Stroud, age 21, of Cherry Mtn. Dr. in Rutherfordton, was cited for larceny. She received a written promise to appear.
  • Kiera Shante Bristol, age 27, of Cherry Mtn. Dr. in Rutherfordton, was cited for larceny. She received a written promise to appear.
  • Deveney Kyerra Goode, age 28, of Butler Rd. in Forest City, was cited for larceny. She received a written promise to appear.
  • John Emmanuel Knight III, age 50, of Third St. in Forest City, was arrested for second degree trespassing. He received a custody release.
  • Michael Edward Colbert, age 44, of Third St. in Forest City, was arrested on a warrant for assault on a female. He received a 48 hour hold.
  • Dennis Lee Wesley, age 55, of Astrid Lane in Forest City, was arrested on warrants for assault with a dangerous weapon and misdemeanor child abuse. He received a $1,000 secured bond.
