Incidents
  • An employee of Drop-In #3 reported an incident of larceny.
  • Gladys Ledford reported an incident of a runaway juvenile.
  • An officer of the Forest City Police Department reported an incident of vandalism.
  • An officer of the Forest City Police Department reported an incident of possession of schedule II and possession of schedule IV controlled substances. (See arrest of Brown)
  • An officer of Forest City Police Department reported an incident of an animal complaint.

Arrests
  • Jordan Terrell Carpenter, age 29, of New Hampshire St. in Forest City, was arrested for disorderly conduct, boisterous shouting, and resisting arrest. He received a $1,000 secured bond.
  • Maurice Watkins, age 35, of Davidson Dr. in Asheville, was arrested on warrants for assault on a female, assault/strangulation, and false imprisonment. He received a $15,000 secured bond.
  • Dale Thomas Brown, age 43, of Spindale St. in Spindale, was arrested possession of schedule II and possession of schedule IV controlled substances. He received a $1,000 secured bond.
  • James Lee Gambrell, age 26, of Cherry Mtn St. in Forest City, was served with a show cause order for failure to pay fines. No bond.
