FOREST CITY WATER TREATMENT CONFIRMS NO BOIL ADVISORY

Forest City, NC - The Town of Forest City Water Treatment Plant has received some questions concerning the safety of our water.
There have been no interruptions in our water treatment process. We are NOT under a boil advisory. If we ever need to issue a boil water advisory, we will send out notices through every means at our disposal including social media, radio, and other news outlets.
Water produced by the Town of Forest City is monitored from the moment it enters our plant at the Second Broad River intake to the moment it arrives at the customer’s tap. Regular testing in the water plant and in the distribution system ensures that our water is of the highest quality.
