Incidents

• An officer of the Forest City Police Dept. reported an incident of resisting a public officer, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of schedule IV controlled substance. (See arrest of Shelton)
• Michael Trubey reported an incident of larceny.
• An employee of Dollar General reported an incident of larceny. (See arrest of Hughes)
• Travis Bruce reported an incident of larceny.
• An officer of the Forest City Police Dept. reported an incident of soliciting alms and impeding traffic. (See arrest of Young)

Arrests

• Kristie Penland Hughes, age 45, of Sugar Hill Rd. in Spindale, was cited for larceny. She received a written promise to appear.
• Brandan Albizo, age 20, of Bellvue St. in Forest City, was arrested on warrants for assault on a female, injury to personal property and misdemeanor larceny.
• Bennie Michael Shelton, age24, of Holland St. in Forest City, was arrested for resisting a public officer, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of schedule IV controlled substance and also served with a warrant for communicating threats. He received a $6,500 secured bond.
• Nathaniel Dewata Young, age 33, of Hardin Rd. in Forest City, was arrested for soliciting alms and impeding traffic. He received a custody release.
