Incidents

• Bethany Logan reported an incident of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, possession of a firearm by a felon, assault on a female, damage to property, discharge a firearm inside city limits and discharge a weapon into an occupied vehicle. (See arrest of Watkins)
• Melisa Greene reported an incident of unemployment fraud and identity theft.
• Leon Palmer reported an incident of larceny.
• An officer of the Forest City Police Dept. reported an incident of disseminating obscene material to a minor under 16, second degree exploitation of a minor and solicitation of a child for a sex act.

Arrests

• Calvin Lew Watkins, age 28, of Oak Ridge Drive in Forest City, was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, possession of a firearm by a felon, assault on a female, damage to property, discharge a firearm inside city limits and discharge a weapon into an occupied vehicle. He received a $125,000 secured bond.
