Incidents

• Barbara Foster reported an incident of lost or stolen property.
• Christina Luckadoo reported an incident of larceny.
• An officer of the Forest City Police Dept. reported an incident of larceny and possession of methamphetamine.
• Jose Vasquez reported an incident of breaking and entering with larceny to a motor vehicle.
• Makayla Dunkle reported an incident of breaking and entering to a motor vehicle.

Arrests

• Jordan Christopher Maxwell, age 31, of Bates Dr. in Forest City, was arrested for being drunk and disruptive. He received a $100 secured bond.
• Melissa Elaine Proctor, age 44, of Bessemer City, NC, was arrested on warrants for two counts of probation violation, failure to appear, two counts of possession of methamphetamine, shoplifting and resist/obstruct and/or delay an officer. She received a $40,500 secured bond.
• James Oliver Merritt, Jr., of Cherryville, NC, was arrested on warrants for probation violation, failure to appear and resist/obstruct and/or delay an officer. He received a $22,000 secured bond.
• Stanley Dean Day, age 53, of Kings Mountain, NC, was arrested on warrants for possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, two counts of failure to appear, probation violation and resist/obstruct and/or delay an officer. He received a $50,000 secured bond.
