Incidents

• Austin Dunnaway reported an incident of simple assault.
• An employee of Wal-Mart reported an incident of shoplifting.
• An employee of Roses reported an incident of shoplifting.
• Thomas Callison reported an incident of larceny of a motor vehicle.

Arrests

• Arianne Elizabeth Ellis, age 22, of W. Main St. in Forest City, was cited for shoplifting. She received a written promise to appear.
• Martrese Devenia Young, age 25, of S. Church St. in Forest City, was served with a notice of hearing. No bond.
• Victoria Kay Vaz, age 29, of Shelby, was arrested for shoplifting and also served with a warrant for failure to appear. She received a $1,000 secured bond.
• Steven Van Brooks, age 33, of Kentucky, was arrested on a fugitive from justice warrant. He is being held at the Rutherford County Detention Center.
