Incidents
  • An officer of the Forest City Police Dept. reported an incident of breaking and entering, larceny from a building and possession of burglary tools.
  • An officer of the Forest City Police Dept. reported an incident of possession of schedule IV and possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • An employee of Ollie's Bargain Outlet reported an incident of larceny.
  • Shane Barger reported an incident of larceny.

Arrests
  • Joshua Phillip Ostwalt, age 29, of Lenoir, NC, was arrested for breaking and entering, larceny from a building and possession of burglary tools. He received a $15,000 secured bond.
  • Elmer William Davis, age 41, of Nix Rd. in Rutherfordton, was arrested on a warrant for possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver marijuana, maintain a vehicle or dwelling for controlled substance and possession of marijuana paraphernalia. He received a $50,000 unsecured bond.
  • Tina Marie Dale, age 45, of S. Church St. in Forest City, was served with a criminal summons for communicating threats. No bond.
