  • An officer of the Forest City Police Dept. reported an incident of assault inflicting serious injury, affray and damage to property.
  • Jennifer Starnes reported an incident of a missing person.
  • Madeline Hewitt reported an incident of breaking and entering with larceny.
  • Pamela Bradley reported an incident of a missing juvenile.

Arrests
  • Joni Matasia Covington, age 18, of S. Church St. in Forest City, was cited for second degree trespassing. She received a written promise to appear.
  • Ivy Elspeth Wood Perkinson, age 18, of Fairview, NC, was cited for second degree trespassing. She received a written promise to appear.
  • Tawanda Michelle Flack, age 47, of Turner St. in Forest City, was arrested for assault inflicting serious injury, affray and damage to property. She received a $10,000 secured bond.
  • Ryan Nichiles Cardwell, age 26, of Thermal City Rd. in Union Mills, was served with a criminal summons for communicating threats. No bond.
