Incidents
  • An officer of the Forest City Police Department reported an incident of simple assault and possession of cocaine. (See arrest of Levesque)
  • Catherine Spencer reported an incident of a missing juvenile.
  • Sandra Morrow reported an incident of breaking and entering. (See arrest of Malendrez)
  • An employee of Wal-Mart reported an incident of larceny.
  • An officer of the Forest City Police Department reported an incident of carrying a concealed weapon, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of schedule VI. (See arrest of Blackburn)
  • Angela Bailey reported an incident of larceny.

Arrests
  • Mary Catherine Levesque, age 42, of S. Church St. in Forest City, was arrested for simple assault and possession of cocaine. She received a 48 hour hold.
  • Anthony Michael Malendrez, age 21, of Forest Hills Dr. in Forest City, was arrested for breaking and entering, larceny and larceny of a firearm. He received a $50,000 secured bond.
  • Manley Auston Blackburn, age 27, of N. Cleghorn St. in Rutherfordton, was arrested for carrying a concealed weapon, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of schedule VI. He received a $500 secured bond.
