Incidents

• An officer of the Forest City Police Dept. reported an incident of possession of schedule VI controlled substance. (See arrest of Ford)
• An officer of the Forest City Police Dept. reported an incident of felony child abuse.
• An employee of B&D Thrift and Loan reported an incident of obtaining property by false pretenses.
• An employee of Alexander Pawn Shop reported an incident of breaking and entering and larceny after breaking and entering. (See arrest of Littlejohn)

Arrests

• Donald Ray Ford, age 51, of Hollis Rd. in Ellenboro, was arrested for possession of schedule VI controlled substance. He received a $500 unsecured bond.
• Anthony Darnell Gary, age 48, of Crescent Dr. in Forest City, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear and resisting arrest. He received a $10,000 secured bond.
• Walter Ashley Littlejohn, age 43, of Maple Creek Rd. in Rutherfordton, was arrested for breaking and entering and larceny after breaking and entering. He received a $10,000 secured bond.
• Jose Granja Lopez, age 30, of Brock Dr. in Forest City, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear. He received an $8,000 secured bond.
