Incidents

• An officer of the Forest City Police Dept. reported an incident of possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
• James Forbes reported an incident of obtaining property by false pretenses and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
• Daniel Helton reported an incident of larceny of a firearm.
• Joshua Cogdell reported an incident of identity theft.
• Priscilla Rainey reported an incident of assault by pointing a gun.

Arrests

• Kalim Zyquan Hughes, age 20, of Forest St. in Forest City, was arrested for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. He received a $1,000 unsecured bond.
• Justin McArthur Hice, age 27, of Thompson Rd. in Rutherfordton, was served with a criminal summons. No bond.
