Incidents

• An officer of the Forest City Police Dept. reported an incident of obtaining property by false pretenses, possession of counterfeit bills and larceny.
• An employee of Forest City ABC Store reported an incident of larceny.
• An employee of Rose's reported an incident of larceny.
• Judith Hutchins reported an incident of fraud.

Arrests

• Brandon Lee Sargent, age 36, of Hooker Rd. in Tryon, was arrested for obtaining property by false pretenses, possession of counterfeit bills and larceny. He received a $30,000 secured bond.
• Leslie Annette Stafford, age 35, of Hooker Rd. in Tryon, was arrested on warrants for failure to appear. She received a $3,500 secured bond.
