RUTHERFORD COUNTY ELIGIBLE FOR FEMA DISASTER ASSISTANCE

Forest City, NC - Residents of Rutherford County are now eligible to apply for disaster assistance through FEMA following the devastation of Helene. This allows individual property owners to apply for financial aid to help cover the costs of storm-related repairs and recovery efforts.

Under FEMA's Individual Assistance Program, property owners who suffered damage may qualify for funds to help repair and replace damaged homes, as well as cover other essential disaster-related expenses not covered by insurance.  Assistance may also be available for temporary housing and other critical needs.
