Incidents
- An employee of Wal-Mart reported an incident of larceny, second degree trespassing and possession of drug paraphernalia. (See arrest of Dobbins)
- An employee of Forest City Mowers reported an incident of obtaining property by false pretenses. (See arrest of Bailey)
- Patricia Cohen reported an incident of assault on a female. (See arrest of Smith)
Arrests
- Melony Coffey Bailey, age 51, of Hillbrook Drive in Rutherfordton, was arrested for obtaining property by false pretense. She received a $2,000 secured bond.
- Amy Godfrey Dobbins, age 38, of Golf Street in Forest City, was arrested for larceny, second degree trespassing and possession of drug paraphernalia. She received a $500 secured bond.
- Cody Shane Richardson, age 23, of Roberson Road in Forest City, was arrested on outstanding warrants for two counts of failure to appear and driving while license revoked. He received a $16,000 secured bond.
- Bobby Clayton Bridges, age 29, of Reid Street in Forest City, was arrested for second degree trespassing. No bond.
- Angela Gibbons Jenkins, age 47, of Millview St. in Forest City, was arrested for resisting arrest. She received a $500 secured bond.
- Darin William Smith, age 44, of Eastside Drive in Forest City, was arrested for assault on a female. He received a 48 hour hold.
