Incidents
  • An employee of Belk's reported an incident of concealment of merchandise.
  • Jean Johnson reported an incident of a missing person.
  • An officer of the Forest City Police Dept. reported an incident of possession of methamphetamine.
  • An officer of the Forest City Police Dept. reported an incident of possession of schedule VI, DWI and child abuse. (See arrest of Rorie)
  • An employee of Wal-Mart reported an incident of larceny. (See arrest of Vance)
  • An officer of the Forest City Police Dept. reported an incident of suspicious activity, recovered stolen vehicle and found property.
  • Bobby Cordell reported an incident of larceny.

Arrests
  • Leonard Brandon Rorie, age 27, of Whiteside Rd. in Rutherfordton, was arrested for possession of schedule VI, DWI, child abuse, and failure to stop at a stop light. He received a $6,500 unsecured bond.
  • Jennifer Lynn McCrary, age 46, of S. Woodland Avenue in Forest City, was served with a warrant for failure to appear. She received a $2,000 secured bond.
  • Jacquitha Rasene Hill, age 37, of Wells Dr. in Forest City, was served a show cause order for failure to pay fines. No bond.
  • Danny Aaron Vance, Jr., age 20, of Roy Goins Rd. in Rutherfordton, was arrested for larceny. He received a written promise to appear.
  • Archie Orlando Porter, age 35, of Landis St. in Forest City, was arrested for failure to pay child support. He received a $500 secured bond.
  • Taquilla Nicole Murray, age 24, of S. Church St. in Forest City, was served with a show cause order for failure to pay fines. No bond.
