Incidents
- An employee of McDonald's reported an incident of counterfeit bills and obtaining property by false pretenses.
- An employee of Peace in the City reported an incident of a runaway juvenile.
- An employee of Ace Scooters reported an incident of obtaining property by false pretenses and possession of a stolen vehicle.
- An officer of the Forest City Police Department reported an incident of possession of drug paraphernalia.
- An employee of Speedway reported an incident of receiving a counterfeit bill.
Arrests
- Brandy Nichol Oglesby, age 29, of N. Ridgecrest Ave. in Rutherfordton, was arrested on warrants for communicating threats, assault and battery and also served with a show cause order. She received a written promise to appear.
- Debra Thompson Oglesby, age 59, of Amity Dr. in Forest City, was arrested on a warrant for assault and battery. She received a written promise to appear.
- Ashley Nicole Smith, age 23, of Blanton St. in Columbus, was arrested for disorderly conduct. She received a $1,000 secured bond.
- Jessical Ray Ridgewell, age 23, of US Hwy 64 in Rutherfordton, was cited for second degree trespassing. She received a written promise to appear.
- David Joseph Cross, age 33, of McDaniel St. in Forest City, was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia. He received a written promise to appear.
