Incidents

• An employee of Quality Plus reported an incident of larceny of motor fuel.
• Peggy Ellis reported an incident of breaking and entering into a motor vehicle with larceny.
• Paul Chapman reported an incident of obtaining property by false pretenses.

Arrests

• Casey Emmanuel Briggs, age 29, of Poors Ford Rd. in Rutherfordton, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear. He received a $500 secured bond.
• Craig Alan Guess Jr, age 35, of Hwy 221 South in Forest City, was arrested for obtaining property by false pretenses. He received a $2,000 secured bond.
• Shirley Early Nodine, age 55, of Barbara St. in Forest City, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear. She received a $5,000 secured bond.
