Incidents

• An officer of the Forest City Police Dept. reported an incident of a fictitious tag.
• An employee of the Dept. of Social Services reported an incident of a missing person.
• Linda Griffin reported an incident of an attempt to obtain property by false pretenses.

Arrests

• Joseph Lee Silver, age 32, of Hopper Rd. in Rutherfordton, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear. He received a $30,000 secured bond.
• Timothy Earl Cantrell, age 59, of Cantrell Lane in Forest City, was cited for fictitious tag, no insurance and no operator's license. He received a written promise to appear.
